Pacific Feminist Forum

The first ever Pacific Feminist Forum took place in Suva, Fiji, in November 2016. The forum brought together women’s rights defenders, feminists, activists and women from multifarious backgrounds across the South Pacific for 3 days of collaboration.

The 2nd PFF was held in May this year and was supported by the Australian Government through the We Rise Coalition, Fiji Women’s Fund, Mama Cash and the UN Women Fiji Multi-Country Office.

GIRLS DIGITAL STORIES

  • Messages from young women to young women about what they can achieve.
  • "The GIRLS program has allowed me to learn more about what I can do. This learning has allowed me to share my ideas as my voice matters."

13th Triennial Conference

Successive Triennial Conferences have provided an important space for the participation of civil society organisations. For the 13th Triennial Conference, the We Rise Coalition are seeking to support and encourage the participation of feminists and women’s human rights defenders to ensure their priorities and concern are heard, with a particular focus on economic rights, human rights of women and girls throughout their life cycle, and ensuring substantive participation of diverse Pacific women from marginalised groups, and urban poor, rural and remote communities.
