ARSHAD DAUD NOT ASSOCIATED WITH US, SAYS
FWRM
THE FIJI Womens Rights Movement would like to make it
clear that local businessman Arshad Daud is in no way associated with the
Movement. Mr Daud has mistakenly
been associated with FWRM over the past week. The misconception follows his detention
by the military on Christmas morning, at the same time as FWRM Executive
Director, Virisila Buadromo.
Mr Daud is not staff, nor management, nor a donor, nor
a member of the Fiji Womens Rights Movement and has no association with the
organisation. FWRM calls on all
parties to recognise Mr Dauds status as an independent citizen, who is not a
member of the NGO community.
