Raising Awareness

Action awareness programs on women's rights in the areas of sexual assault, family law, women and employment and economic rights form part of FWRM's agenda. Programs occur via advertisements, discussions on air, articles and letters to the newspapers.

On providing Human Rights Information to Members of the Community.  Services include:

  • Provision of feminist training to groups and organizations;
  • Network strengthening;
  • Consultation on gender issues relating to employment, health and family matters and
  • Development of education and awareness-raising programs through presentations, workshops, seminars, conferences on gender issues to institutions, schools and other organizations.

Our English, Fijian and Hindi speaking Human Rights Training Officers offer their services in the facilitation of Human Rights and/ or Gender sessions to any private organization, community group, schools, or members of the public sector.

A small amount may be incurred by your organization in terms of transportation costs, but there is no added charge for the facilitation of these sessions.
