PARTNERSHIPS

The Fiji Women’s Rights Movement believes that partnerships and collaboration with other non-governmental organisations, women’s rights groups and donor agencies are strategic towards the achievement of greater impact than any organisation on its own.

In order to achieve greater leverage, address relevant issues and strengthen and expand our programs and services, we have entered into the following partnerships and coalitions.

We Rise Coalition

The We Rise Coalition is a dynamic, learning Coalition led by four feminist organisations. At the centre of the We Rise Coalition is a commitment to building and sustaining the collective power of women in all their diversities.

The Fiji Young Women’s Forum (FYWF) is co-convened by the Emerging Leaders Forum Alumni (ELFA), Diverse Voices and Action for Equality (DIVA), Young Women Leadership Team- FemLINK Pacific.

The inaugural Pacific Feminist Forum was held from November 28–30, 2016 at the University of the South Pacific in Suva, Fiji.

Fiji Women's Forum

Fiji Women’s Forum was formed in 2012 in order to bring together diverse women’s groups, towards the shared aim of increasing women’s participation in leadership. Specifically, they put aside their differences to come together to increase women’s participation in the Fiji national elections held in September 2014.
